In most areas, the number of available homes on the market has reduced since the summer peak. What remains are mostly properties that have been on the market for a long time. If you price your house right, it will stand out to buyers who are looking for something new to hit the market.

This week, the average rate for a 30-year fixed conventional mortgage fell to 3.77%. Rates were over 5% a year ago! This is a perfect opportunity for buyers on the fence to make the commitment.

More than half of all buyers don't have children at home, which means there's no rush to be settled in a new home for the start of the school year. For these buyers, fall is the perfect time to buy--it's right between summer (vacation season!) and the holidays.
